Rural tourism, waterfalls and summer houses
The oldest town in a region called Sertão do Paranapanema, Campos Novos Paulista invests in its natural attractions: a mild weather, plenty of green areas, rivers and waterfalls.
Located in the Western region of the state, the town is also known as the “Marolo Land”. Marolo is a type of fruit from the Brazilian outback that weighs up to four pounds and is very sweet, fragrant and tasty.
There are several farms with good tourism infrastructure. One of them, Gersinho’s World, has running water swimming pools and waterslides. In addition to other spots such as Sítio São Bento, Sítio Nogueira and Recanto Silvestre, the city lake is also worth visiting.

Getting there
Campos Novos Paulista is 418 km of São Paulo.
Car: Rodovia Castello Branco (SP-280) until you reach its end; then turn left to SP-327 to Ourinhos; then, turn right to Transbrasiliana (BR-153) until you reach the cloverleaf to Campos Novos. The access to the left is 14 km long.
Bus: There are no direct buses from São Paulo.
Viação Manoel Rodrigues (Phone: (55 + 11) 3392-1550 – www.manoelrodrigues.com.br) takes passengers to Ourinhos. Buses depart from Terminal Rodoviário Barra Funda (São Paulo - SP). From Ourinhos, Turismar buses, phone: (55 + 14) 3322-2103.
