About us

Aprecesp – São Paulo State Association of Tourist Cities – is a non-profit private organization founded in 1985 with the objective of standing for the interests of the tourist cities – both coastal and inland cities – in São Paulo state and work on the development of the tourism in these cities.

Today, 70 cities are members of the association and are divided according to the following categories: balneárias (beach cities), climáticas (enjoyable climate), turísticas (remarkable tourist attractions) and hidrominerais (mineral and thermal springs).
The association is member of the Conselho Estadual de Turismo (State Tourism Council), the Câmara de Turismo da Federação do Comércio (Tourism Chamber of the Commerce Federation) and of the COC – Conselho de Orientação e Controle (Control and Orientation Council) of the DADE – Departamento de Apoio ao Desenvolvimento das Estâncias (Department for the Development of Tourist Cities), a body under the State Secretary of Tourism.

Balneárias (beach cities):

Bertioga, Cananeia, Caraguatatuba, Guarujá, Iguape, Ilha Comprida, Ilhabela, Itanhaém, Mongaguá, Peruíbe, Praia Grande, Santos, São Sebastião, São Vicente, Ubatuba.

Climáticas (enjoyable climat):

Analândia, Bragança Paulista, Caconde, Campos do Jordão, Campos Novos Paulista, Cunha, Morungaba, Nuporanga, Santa Rita do Passa Quatro, Santo Antônio do Pinhal, São Bento do Sapucaí.

Hidrominerais (mineral and thermal springs):

Águas da Prata, Águas de Lindoia, Águas de Santa Bárbara, Águas de São Pedro, Amparo, Atibaia, Ibirá, Lindoia, Monte Alegre do Sul, Poá, Serra Negra, Socorro.

Turísticas (remarkable tourist attraction):
